8. IoT Forum – Let’s go hybrid

„Added value through IoT“ is the motto of this year’s IoT Forum on 5th November at Tech Gate in Vienna. Which applications are useful in practice?

One successful application will be demonstrated by Microtronics CFO Stefan Pfeffer and Kamran Kiafar, Key Account Manager Kapsch BusinessCom. With IoT it goes off to the Matterhorn. An IoT solution for mountain railroads? Who and, above all, what for do you need something like that? This is what the two will tell you in the “IoT Business Cases” session.

Those who want to become active themselves should participate in the “Hands-on IoT-Workshop” with Microtronics Head of Documentation Josef Posch. From sensor data acquisition to web applications to the control of an LED: the entire process is mapped in 60 minutes.

In the course of Industry Meets Makers, Marketing Manager Sabrina Waldbauer and Manuel Schwabl (Head of Unit BEST – Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies GmbH) ask themselves what your fireplace would tell you. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Gamification will be used to effectively fire wood stoves and reduce air pollutants.

We take care of each other!

The number of participants on site is limited to a maximum of 100 persons. The health of all participants has top priority. Here you will find all on-site security measures on the part of the organizer.
